Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is an action-adventure video game. It is the fifth game in the Grand Theft Auto series. The game is set in the fictional state of San Andreas, based on some of the real-world locations in California, USA. This game is rated M and it should be played by people over 17. It has a lot of violence, blood, and drug use.

The player controls Carl "CJ" Johnson, who returns home to Los Santos from Liberty City after his mother's murder. CJ finds his old friends and family in disarray, and over the course of the game, he attempts to re-establish his old gang, clashes with corrupt cops, and gradually uncovers the truth about his family.

Gameplay

The game's open-world design lets player-controlled protagonist Carl "CJ" Johnson explore the fictional state of San Andreas. The world of San Andreas is divided into three major cities, Los Santos, San Fierro, and Las Venturas, all of which are based on real Californian locations.

Each city has different attractions, with Los Santos being the most developed city, San Fierro being an industrial city, and Las Venturas being a gambling city. The player can interact with the environment, take part in activities, and progress through the game's storyline at their leisure.

Graphics

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas features a 3D graphics engine that was developed in-house by Rockstar North. The game incorporates a variety of visual effects, including dynamic lighting, self-shadowing, and particle effects. The game employs stylized graphics, including the use of motion blur, depth of field, and color filters. At this moment, the graphics seem outdated, but it is still a very good game to play.

Controls

The controls are pretty simple. They are easy to understand but are also very complex depending on what you are doing.

Replayability

The game has many side missions to complete, and hundreds of collectibles to find. There are also many different vehicles in the game.
