PlayStation has unveiled four complimentary monthly titles for PlayStation Plus Essential members this month, set to become accessible starting May 7th.
Leading the charge is the Zelda-inspired adventure Tunic for both PS4 and PS5. Behind its charming, deceptive exterior lies a profoundly challenging puzzle game with covert mysteries.
The complete lineup for May's PlayStation Plus Essential offerings is as follows:
- EA Sports FC 24 Standard Edition (PS4, PS5)
- Ghostrunner 2 (PS5)
- Tunic (PS4, PS5)
- Destiny 2: Lightfall (PS4, PS5)
EA Sports FC 24 marks the inaugural entry in EA's new football franchise, having launched in September of the previous year. It has also been part of the EA Play trial lineup.
Furthermore, PlayStation Plus members have the opportunity to claim the PlayStation Plus Football Ultimate Team Starter Pack to enhance their experience in the game.
Also presented is the futuristic action title Ghostrunner 2, exclusively on PS5, along with Destiny 2: Lightfall, which is available for both PS4 and PS5. This latest addition to Bungie's space-themed MMO is the precursor to the much-anticipated 'The Final Shape,' set to arrive in June.
As the new entries debut, this signifies the final opportunity to secure April's titles: Immortals of Aveum, Minecraft Legends, and Skul: The Hero Slayer.
