Remedy Entertainment has provided an update regarding its financial situation and ongoing projects. Alan Wake II is nearing the point of full cost recovery, although it has not achieved this milestone yet. The upcoming physical re-release set for October is hoped to push the title into profitability.
In relation to Alan Wake II, the studio also announced that they are actively developing the second story DLC titled The Lake House, though a specific release date remains unconfirmed.
Looking at other initiatives, Project Condor, a multiplayer expansion of Control, is now in the full production stage, with the team busy designing various maps and mission scenarios which are currently undergoing both internal and external testing.
Additionally, the remakes of Max Payne (the first two games) have entered full production in recent months. The development team is meticulously ensuring that the prototypes align with the new gameplay mechanics being integrated into the remakes.
Lastly, Control 2 continues its development, albeit at a slower pace than other projects. The concept phase has concluded, and the team is now focused on prototype development and determining the project's overall scale. As a result, it will likely take several years before any concrete updates are available to the public.
