Referrals have always been the best way to develop a platform and increase the number of its users, and consequently, the income. Using referrals means providing a number of bonuses and discounts for it so that such people have the motivation to actively invite new users. At least some large companies have implemented a system of referrals.
In February 2021, YouTube TV offered its users a lucrative referral program that looks quite generous for both new subscribers and referrals. And YouTube itself has made a generous offer of a free additional month for each newly attracted registered user.
To receive a free bonus month for YouTube Premium, its subscriber must share a special referral link that the new user must use during registration. And a new subscriber will have access to 3 months of use at a super-reduced price. Although a subscription for US residents costs $11.99/month, new subscribers after using the referral link will pay $0.99 per month for the first 3 months. And for India, the cost of a subscription for the first 3 months will cost Rs 30 instead of Rs 348. It is important to mention that this offer is valid only for new subscribers and does not apply to those who even once were subscribed to YouTube Premium.
Thus, YouTube made it very tempting for existing subscribers to receive a free month for each new referral subscriber. However, this option is only valid until May 31, 2023, which means that you will not be able to get unlimited free months even if you have a lot of referral subscribers. Also, as it turned out, the program does not work in all countries, since it did not work for some writers at Android Police who live in Europe.
